Miss World 2024 Judges List Unveiled in Grand Finale Spectacle
MUMBAI, India — The 71st Miss World pageant reached its grand climax on March 9, 2024, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, marking a historic return to India after a hiatus of 28 years. The much-anticipated event witnessed a dazzling lineup of judges from the film fraternity and entertainment business, adding an extra layer of glamour to the prestigious competition.
The esteemed 12-member panel featured prominent personalities, including Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, cricketer Harbhajan Singh, journalist Rajat Sharma, actress and social worker Amruta Fadnavis, MD of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Limited Vineet Jain, and the Chairman and CEO of the Miss World Organization, Julia Morley CBE. The lineup also boasted the presence of strategic partner and host Miss World India Jamil Saidi, along with Bollywood actresses Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde. Three former Miss World titleholders added their expertise to the judging process, although their names were not immediately revealed.
Former Miss World Megan Young and renowned filmmaker Karan Johar took center stage as hosts, guiding the audience through an unforgettable evening. The event featured sensational performances by acclaimed artists Shaan, Neha Kakkar, and Tony Kakkar, adding to the overall grandeur of the celebration.
The month-long Miss World festivities showcased a series of rigorous competitions, including talent showcases, sports challenges, and charitable initiatives, emphasizing the contestants’ qualities as ambassadors of positive change. Sini Shetty, representing India and crowned Femina Miss India World 2022, made her nation proud by making it to the Top 40 and eventually reaching the final eight.

As the evening unfolded, the spotlight shifted to the crowning moment, with Krystyna Pyszková from the Czech Republic emerging as the new Miss World 2024. Yasmina Zaytoun from Lebanon earned the first runner-up position among 112 contestants, adding to the international diversity of the competition.
