Nick Pasqual Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend
Nick Pasqual, an actor known for his roles in “Rebel Moon” and “How I Met Your Mother,” was arrested in Texas while attempting to flee to Mexico. He is accused of breaking into the home of his estranged girlfriend, Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn, and stabbing her multiple times.
The attack occurred around 4:30 a.m. on May 23, 2024, at Shehorn’s residence in Sunland, California.
Shehorn suffered numerous slashes to her neck and cuts to her arms and abdomen. She was discovered by her surrogate mother, Christine White, and was immediately hospitalized in critical condition, undergoing several surgeries.
Days before the attack, Shehorn had filed a restraining order against Pasqual, citing previous incidents of violence, including rape, choking, and assault.
Pasqual was detained at a US-Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.
He faces charges of attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and inflicting injury on a cohabitant or intimate partner. Additionally, he is accused of causing significant bodily harm in a domestic violence context.
If convicted, Pasqual could be sentenced to life in state prison.
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón emphasized the seriousness of domestic violence and vowed to ensure Pasqual is held accountable.
A GoFundMe campaign has been established to help cover Shehorn’s medical expenses. The page describes her as a remarkable person and highlights the traumatic nature of the incident.
