Students like Morgan Oljeski eagerly anticipated the seafood boil, offering a unique opportunity to savor Louisiana’s culinary delights. The university’s partnership with Harvest Table was recognized for going above and beyond in creating special menus that added to the overall vibrancy of Fat Tuesday on campus.

Meanwhile, in the heart of New Orleans, the city bid farewell to Carnival season with a culmination of parades, street parties, and a massive outdoor costume festival. The streets were filled with revelers donning an array of costumes, from the fanciful to the suggestive, showcasing the diversity and creativity that defines Mardi Gras in the Big Easy.

New Orleans, known for hosting the largest free street party in the world, saw a convergence of traditions, including the iconic Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club parade and the Rex, King of Carnival procession.
